Nahar
Pharmaceuticals originated in 1925 in the name of Nahar
Ayurvedic Pharmacy by late Motichand Kasturchand
Nahar. Mr. Motichand
Kasturchand Nahar felt the need to enter into ayurvedic
segment to meet growing demand for effective and
quality medicines.
With the
advent of Industrialisation, these operations gave way to
mechanisation and in 1985, Nahar
Pharmaceuticals
came into existence under the
able guidance of Mr. Dhansukhlal M. Nahar. |

We came into existence with a mission
to serve community at large with our high quality Ayurvedic herbs
and medicines. We have been
successful in our attempt in developing a large range of ayurvedic
medicines which have been proved as effective remedies for chronic
and incurable diseases. We are proud to say that we have patented
more than a dozen products.

The company is consistently striving to
achieve ISO 9001 Certification and
GMP Certificate ( Good Manufacturing Practices as recommended by
World Health Organisation.) The final
auditing for ISO 9001 certification is in April 2004.
The present
Today,
Nahar Pharmaceuticals
is a name synonymous to efficacy, reliability and quality. Mr.
Kishore D. Nahar and Mr. Deepak D. Nahar have taken over the reins
and leading company to new heights. Mr. Kishore is a great
visionary and a mentor and gives meticulous attention to Research
and Development activities of the company.
Mr.
Deepak is a commerce graduate and a law postgraduate. He keeps a
strict tab on administrative and production aspects and leading
ayurvedic company, backed by the latest technology and highly
qualified, dedicated staff.
Manufacturing Division
We have a modern
manufacturing plant located at Maroli in South Gujarat Region,
India. The plant prides in its modern technology and balancing
equipments so as to ensure quality and cost effective production.
Separate facilities exists for manufacturing traditional and
patented products. Our state of art infrastructure well supports
our mission of providing effective ayurvedic medicines for the
overall community benefits. The company is highly emphasing on
quality practices, hence inducting the latest quality control
equipments to check quality at every stage of production.

spreaded over an area of 60,000 sq. ft. with constructed area of

Research and Development
The R&D department is entrusted with the task of
formulating specific remedies for various ailments to suit
to the requirements of the patient in the changed
environment. It has so far developed over A dozen patented
products for chronic ailments such as Arthritis, Sinusitis, Back

R&D division is to formulate new drugs for various
ailments.
Quality Control
Every raw material is thoroughly inspected and
only after it is approved at the Laboratory does
it find a place in the production process. The
Quality Control Laboratory also keeps a careful
and close watch on the medicines under
preparation. At every important stage of the
production process, samples are drawn, examined
and necessary guidance given to the Production
Department whenever required.
Every finished product also comes to this
Laboratory for inspection and approval. It is due
to such rigid and ever vigilant Quality Control
standards that Nahar
Pharmaceuticals is regarded as the finest company in
Ayurvedic concept.
